Welcome to the charming world of the Co-op Elworth - Lawton Way, nestled in the heart of Lawton Way, Sandbach, CW11 1TF. This local gem serves as a beacon for quality groceries and essentials, combining convenience with a touch of community spirit.

Located conveniently for residents, Co-op Elworth offers a diverse selection of goods designed to cater to your everyday needs. As a food reviewer, I can't help but highlight some key attractions:

  • Chocolate, Sweets, and Gum: Indulge your sweet tooth with Wrigley’s Extra White Chewing Gum - a fresh and sugar-free delight at just £3.4. Perfect for a quick freshen-up.
  • Soft Drinks: Make your evenings more refreshing! Grab a pack of Robinsons Fruit Shoot Summer Fruits for £2.7 or enjoy the invigorating taste of Monster Energy Mango Loco at £5.7. If you’re feeling nostalgic, the Robinsons Fruit & Barley with Vitamins is available for only £1.6.
  • Fresh Produce: Co-op British Raspberries at £2.5 offer a burst of natural sweetness, while the hand-picked oranges at £1.6 are perfect for a nutritious snack.
  • Dairy, Eggs, and Chilled Juice: Treat yourself to the luxurious President Vanilla Crème UHT Aerosol Cream for £2.3, or refresh with Coop's Apple Juice at £2.2.
  • Desserts and Yoghurts: For the dessert lovers, GÜ Inspirations Chocolate & Honeycomb is a must-try at £4.1, and don’t miss out on the Actimel Strawberry Yogurt Drink (8-pack) for just £3.6.

While the selection is impressive, the experience hasn't been without its challenges. Customer feedback reveals some service inconsistencies. For instance, one patron expressed frustration over a missing bread roll order, which left them hungry amidst an expected meal. Another shopper shared an anecdote about a less-than-friendly staff interaction regarding store entry rules that felt a tad limiting.

Discrepancies in product variety, particularly in dairy options, have also been noted—such as the search for skimmed milk or specific cheese types—suggesting there’s room for enhancement. Nonetheless, the Co-op Elworth stands as a practical solution for those looking to avoid bustling town center traffic.

In summary, the Co-op Elworth - Lawton Way is a vital community resource rich with potential. With a solid range of products and the convenience of local shopping, it's worth a visit for both essential groceries and casual indulgences. What a pisstake, ordered from here a bread roll and some ham. Tell me why instead of giving me a different kind of BREAD they removed the item completely and refunded me like thanks a lot. Haven’t bloody eaten all day because of circumstances and just fancied myself a bread roll and they don’t have it what was even the point. Also for delivery and service fee it’s almost £??? What is that about? Absolute joke. So I can’t even try and order from the other little co op a bread roll because the service charge is so much, the bread is like p and comes out to a fiver. Thanks co-op for just giving me a few slabs of ham really appreciate it!!!

I love a good co-op but this one is downright rude. Myself, my partner and son were going in together but me and him were paying separately as he needed some things for work. I was rudely told by staff that we all must leave and come in not as a group and to leave my son outside with my partner while I shop. Now I’m sorry but that is unfair, my partner is not my sons dad and I was treating my son to a sweet but now couldn’t because he wanted to choose. We left and went to the smaller one down the road where staff made no comment on us being together and we’re actually very helpful when we couldn’t find somethingWe now do not go to this coop only the smaller one.

A handy shop with most things including a cashpoint. Ample parking unless there's an event on at the school behind it. Niggles are the variety of choice on some items - examples would be no skimmed filtered milk and about options of Cheddar cheese but no Double Gloucester (unless you want onions and chives in it). Other than that, it saves battling town centre traffic and is a handy local resource.
